Island Preschool

In 2023, A New Name, INC. started working towards the opening of a preschool on the island for all 4-6-year-old children on the island to attend. The church’s 500 sq foot Sunday School room is currently being transformed to provide a facility to meet proper needs for function and security.

Uniforms are being made for the children by the ladies who have been in the sewing program. Once the preschool is open they will transition their employment from seamstress to assistant teacher and cook.

Proper desks, toys, and educational materials are currently being purchased.

Our local team is currently searching for a certified teacher.

The projected start-up is early 2024. As funding provides, A New Name, INC. looks forward to expanding the opportunities this preschool provides for the families of the island.
