Island English School

Years ago, A New Name, INC. board member, Robert Cooper, collected donations for a simple English School to be constructed on the island. This opened the opportunity to bring an English teacher to the island for daily, one-hour lessons for the children of the island.

In 2023, as funding became available, A New Name, INC. was able to upgrade the building to be fully enclosed with a fan, lights, and fresh paint. Now, two one-hour blocks of English class take place daily in the building. The first hour is for children aged 16 and under, and the second hour is for children aged 10 and under. A New Name, INC. is thrilled that the English School has grown and gained traction over the years and is hopeful for the empowerment this education brings.
